* Peculiarities/Powers*

Lina is a wizard of Black Magic, although also it dominates the Astral Magic capably and it knows spells functional White magic. Despite these they vary according to are the novels or the series. Also he is capable in the fencing.
* Differences between Novels and Series*

Lina is quite the same, yet different character in both versions.

> Anime: The Lina of the series is not very different from the one of novels. Basically the differences concern to the age (more concrete in the series) and that appears redhead here; the clothes that remain similar throughout all the series, as well as the complements: in the series it takes different swords and the Gems of Blood of Demon are all red. Also it changes his I dominate of the spells and the power of these: the "Drag Slave"  and the "Ragna" Sword the Series are much more powerful that in novels, in addition in the series uses it of more indiscriminate form.

> Novels: The original Lina is shorter changing little of stature throughout its life and its hair is brown instead of  redhead. Also it changes more often of wizard uniform and of shoulder reinforcements, its sword is always similar to the one of a Roman legionary and is bejeweled, and finally she is much more responsible and reflective with the use of the magic.

* Rumors*

1-Is said that one of the reasons by which it was escaped from his house from fear of his sister it is because, when Lina wanted to get enough money for opening her own magic store, she got the best idea: to make a hole in her home's wall, so people could see how her older sister Lina bathed and getting money in return... and when Luna found it out, gave her such beating than Lina had to go away from house and not return. Nevertheless, Lina always says that her sister advised to him that "she saw world".

2-Other rumor says that the spots that shine under her bangs are in fact some marks that Zefirian women puts on their foreheads. In fact these spots were put by Araizumi because jhe thought that she had a very cleared forehead when she doesn't has her bandana.

3-The last rumor is about how the "Giga Slave" learned and the "Ragna Sword": it seems to be that to Lina already knew those spells when she studied magic. Luna obied her to accompany her and having some meeting with an elder in the city of Gaira of the Kingdom of Dills. There, her sister was speaking with the elder, and although Lina did not participate in the conversation, she could find out some things thanks to that chat, and thanks to that, she could invent those two spells. What she did not know is what was in fact, and it does not discover it until making contact with enemy with the Cleir Bible.

* History*

Lina was born like second daughter of a marriage formed by a retired mercenary and a priestess who kept a store commerce (apparently, a fruit shop), so she grew up like daughter of retailers, which explains her taste for money. It does not seem that it had a safe specially difficult childhood by his abusive older sister; Lina liked the open spaces and field, and she used to climb trees and chasing insects in her chilhood. When Lina reached certain maturity, she traveled to Atlas city where she studied witchcraft in the Sorceres' Guild there, where she demonstrated to be capable for the magic. Finally, she graduated with an invention spell (I do not know which) and obtained for that reason a color with which the Associations graduate to the graduated ones; the problem is that the color that they gave her - and therefore in that she must be dressed- was the rose, that in Japan has sex connotations. Therefore, when she returned to home and showed it to her family, her sister Luna laughed maddly of her, and eventually Lina run away from home. It's the reason because Lina refused to dress in Rose during some time, to the nonbeing she was forced to show her status (reason because in movies and Ovas she does not dress in this color). Nevertheless her father was proud by the profit of Lina.

Later Lina wanted to open a magic article store and during some time, she traveled with the purpose of accumulating merchandise and money, gaining meanwhile part of the fame that would end up having. During one of those trips, in a stop in one of his habitual inns, she met Naga, that walked looking for it. For Lina that meant two things: by a Naga side, she destroyed the inn thus and, without proposing it to it really, also all the objects and merchandise that Lina had kept for her future business, so that Lina had to give up her original idea of opening a magic store. By other side, she began to travel almost throughout a year and to the force with the disappeared Princess of Seillon without she, at no moment, knew that who was Naga really, and with who at the same time established a deep rivalry like wizard and woman and certain friendship.

 

After that time, she separated from Naga by unknown reasons, and shortly after that, she met Goury and the others. The rest is another story...
Personality*


As personage can be said that the excesses and brutality of Lina are very attractive (reason by that this personage is the favorite of many people).. but I am going to analyze why it's so.

Lina is egoistic, interested, bossy, louder voice, glutton, made feel inferior in many aspects, gross, greedy, has hysterics, etc, etc, etc... Although it is necessary to recognize that it has good heart. The certain thing is that Lina undergoes an ENORMOUS inferiority complex with respect to its sister Luna that always has humiliated her and made feel inferior as woman and competent person, to which the fact that is added than her sister is the Knight of Cephid and therefore she's superior to any wizard. So Lina became a sorceress in order to be able to compete with her and acts so that for everybody doubt that does not fit it is not what her sister makes her feel that is. At heart what Lina wishes is that is being recognized in something, so sje tries to demonstrate continuously that she is the best wizard of the world and the best woman and person, reason by which uses the magic of wild form and by whom sje becomes infuriated before the minimum retort of which she says, and that causes that either she does not want to demonstrate weakness signs before the others; to all this the love by the money is added to her that it was inculcated by her father and who the objective of her life, besides to accumulate wealth and fame (to bear the saying) is not other that the one of the simple fun.In spite of that, Lina is intelligent, and according the story goes, we see she becomes more mature and responsible with the use for her magic and that knows how to leave ahead in situations like in which it finishes put. Even so, I must indicate that the reasons that move to Lina (her inferiority complex) is a quite poor reason if it's compared with the reasons for the rest of the characters.
